About Me

My name is Eli Taylor. I am a licensed massage therapist in Sanford, Maine. I am a graduate of the Class of 2015 at Seacoast Career School, formerly located in South Sanford and soon to be relocating to Rochester, NH. I am soon to be 28 years-old as of February 28th, 2016.

The way that I got into massage therapy was that I primarily have a natural skill for it. I would give massages to friends of mine who were having back pain and such, and I would always get really great feedback on my technique and pressure. After searching for the right career and wanting to advance into something much less dead-end than retail work, I decided to take the advice of numerous friends who encouraged me to become licensed in massage therapy. I started school at Seacoast in May of 2014, completing the program within 13 months and becoming fully licensed by the State Department of Financial Regulations.

As a massage therapist, I actively take a holistic approach in catering to the healing process of the mind, body, and spirit. Massage therapy, to me, is a true art form. I like to think of my clients as a canvas in which similar to that of a painter's work, starts out with a blank slate and gets worked into perfection. I like to approach the client's physical ailments/adhesions as a challenge that I can overcome and heal with the power of my hands. My target clientele primarily consists of athletes, but I also work on a variety of other people as well, such as middle-aged/elderly clients, men, and women. My inherent skill is a reflection of my work, and I definitely feel like I was made to be a massage therapist. Whenever I am working, I'm automatically able to go into my zone and just move with the flow of my own rhythm while working on clients. This helps the clients relax as well, and they are easily able to pick up on my natural approach to massage. Doing so has given me great productive feedback and has let me know that I have taken the right path to get to where I am today.
